What is Buckt?

Buckt is the UK’s only tickets and activities subscription box. Every month subscribers get 5 mystery tickets to some of the best attractions and activities in their region.

From axe throwing to alpaca walking, cinema tickets to sumo suit wrestling(!), each box contains a unique mix of the brilliant and bizarre as well as the tried and tested, expertly put together by the Buckt team.

Tickets are worth an average of £50 per person but costs just £12.50 each, there are no extra costs (all the tickets are included in the price of your subscription) and you can cancel any time.

When will my box be delivered?

  • If you have signed up for a standard subscription
    • Special Christmas timeline:
      • Boxes will be dispatched early in December so they arrive with you for Christmas day.
      • They will be dispatched on the 16th December, and will have a 3 day delivery.
      • Your activities won’t go live until 1st January 2020 and you won’t be able to book in for any of them until then.
      • This box will technically be your January box, but will just arrive early as a special Christmas treat.
    • Standard timeline:
      • Usually your box will be dispatched on the last day of the month that you signed up and should be with you in 3 working days.
  • If you purchased a Christmas gift
    • All Christmas gift orders will be dispatched on the 16th December, with a 3 working day delivery time. Please note that the 16th December is the last day to purchase a Christmas gift.
      • Christmas gifts where you WON’T be completing the activities alongside the gift recipient can be sent earlier than the 16th. If you would like to receive your box earlier, please email sam@buckt.uk.
  • If you purchased a standard gift.

When will the activities go live? When can I start completing them?

  • If you have purchased a standard subscription
    • Special Christmas timeline:
      • Your box will be dispatched on the 16th December with a three day delivery (so your box arrives for Christmas).
      • Your activities will go live on the 1st January 2020.
      • This box is technically your January box, but is being sent early as a special Christmas treat.
    • Standard timeline:
      • Your box will be dispatched on the last day of the month that you purchased
      • Your activities will go live on the following month
      • You will have 3 months to complete the non-date specific activities, but must be booked in by the last day of the month that your box was delivered.
      • I.e. if you purchased in October, your box will be dispatched on the 31st October and your activities will for November onwards
  • If you purchased a Christmas gift
    • You/the gift recipient will receive your box in December 2019 (see delivery details above)
    • The box and activities will go live on the 1st January 2020
    • You will have 3 months to complete the non-date specific activities from the 1st January 2020, but must be booked in by the last day of January.
    • I.e. if you purchased on the 10th October, your box would get dispatched on the 1st December. The gift would be given to someone on the 25th December, and the activities will go live on the 1st January (meaning that they can start booking in their activities on the 1st January 2020)
  • If you purchased a standard gift.
    • Please check the specific gift purchasing pages by clicking here and answering the questions.

How long do I/the gift recipient have to complete the activities?

You (or the gift recipient) will have three months to complete all non-date specific activities, however these must be booked in by the last day of the month of your box.

Example:

If you/the gift recipient receive the January box, you will have until the last day of March to complete the activities, however must be booked in with the activity provider by 31st January.

When will payment be taken?

  • If you have signed up for a standard subscription
    • An initial payment will be taken straight away and this is for your first box.
    • Your next payment will be taken out on the first day of the month of your next box (i.e. the payment for April’s box will come out on the 1st April).
    • You will then be charged every month on the first day of the month of your box.
  • If you purchased a gift.
    • Please check the specific gift purchasing pages by clicking here and answering the questions.

Are there any restrictions?

Please note that promotional codes can not be used to purchase a gift subscription. Gift subscriptions have specific promotional rates:

  • One month Duo Box – £25
  • Two month Duo Box – £45 (instead of £50)
  • Three month Duo Box – 60 (instead of £75)
  • Six month Duo Box – £100 (instead of £150)

Where does Buckt currently operate?

Please note that Buckt currently only operates in the Greater Birmingham area and Greater Manchester area.

This means that all activities will be within these regions (usually no further than a 20-30 minute drive away from Birmingham City Centre or Manchester City Centre respectively).

If you are from outside this area, you are still more than welcome to subscribe, but please be conscious of where our activities are likely to be.

What is the value of the tickets in the box?

To purchase the tickets and activities included in your box separately, on average, it would cost you £50 per person. This means that a Duo Box is worth £100, but costs you just £25.

We do frequently exceed this valuation and always aim to create a box that is the best value for money for our subscribers.

Can I take anyone as the second person if I have a Duo subscription?

Yes! You are free to take whoever you want as the additional person, and you can also give your ticket to someone else if you can’t make an activity.

When booking, you will need to provide your name as the ‘lead subscriber’ name, but can then list the names of the people in attendance. Our team may reach out to double check if the names are unfamiliar, but once this is verified we will complete the booking for you.

Can I cancel my subscription? (If applicable)

All subscriptions are rolling subscriptions that can be cancelled at any time. To cancel, please email sam@buckt.uk and we will provide you more information on how to terminate your subscription. You must notify us at least 1 week before your next box is set to be delivered.
