General information

Office closure

Our office is scheduled to be closed on the following dates:
– Friday 20th December (from 17:30 onwards)-Sun 29th December
– Tues 31st December-Thurs 2nd January

During this period our customer service channels will be offline meaning that we will not respond to any of your enquiries and some bookings for those who received a box at the beginning of December will not processed (see below)

To emphasise – during the festive period when our office is closed, no customer service emails or messages will be responded to, so please do check all of the above before contacting us. 99.9% of the time, the answer can be found by checking one of the above.


Information for new subscribers and anyone interested in signing up

Box delivery – orders placed BEFORE midnight on the 18th

All orders placed before midnight on the 18th December will be dispatched and with you in time for Christmas:

  • Orders placed before midnight on the 16th December will be dispatched on the 16/17th with a three day delivery
  • Orders placed on the 17th or 18th (before midnight) will be dispatched on the 19th December with a three day delivery

 

Box delivery – orders placed AFTER midnight on the 18th

All orders placed after midnight on the 18th December will NOT receive a box straight away. You will receive a digital gift certificate automatically in your confirmation email, which you are free to print off if you wish.

Your boxes will be dispatched on the 3rd January (when we are back in the office) with a 3 day delivery time.

 

When your activities go live and booking activities

The box that you receive for Christmas day will technically be your January box meaning that you won’t be able to book in for activities until 1st January 2020. Your booking web page won’t be live until 1st January and you will not be able to access it.

The activities in this box will run from 1st Jan to the 31st March, however you must be booked in by the 31st Jan (in line with our standard booking policy).


Information for long-standing subscribers who received a box at the beginning of December (by the 4th December)

Box delivery

As a Christmassy treat, we have sent out out January’s box early so it arrives in time for Christmas.

Your box has been dispatched on the 16th December with a three day delivery time.

IMPORTANT: this box is technically your January box meaning that you won’t be able to book in for activities until 1st January 2020, however we felt it was just a nice extra treat to get through your door before Christmas (you can even open it on Christmas day if you wish!)

I repeat… You will not be able to book in for activities until the 1st January. The booking web page will not be live.

The activities in this box will run from 1st Jan to the 31st March, however you must be booked in by the 31st Jan (in line with our standard booking policy).

You will be charged on the 1st January as normal.

If you cancel between the date that your box is dispatched (the 16th December) and the charge date (1st January), you will be unable to do any activities in your booklet and your bookings won’t be processed.

 

Booking activities during office closure

When our office is closed, some bookings may not be processed depending on whether they are dealt with manually by the Buckt team. Please see below for a breakdown:

– ‘First choice requested’ – these will not get processed
– ‘Further contact’ – these will not be processed
– ‘Event bookings’ – these will get processed automatically as normal
– ‘Venue booking’ – these will get processed automatically as normal

Please note that the individual venues will have their own opening times, so if you have to contact them directly, please be aware of this.

With the above information in mind, we would recommend all bookings are submitted before our office closes for the Christmas period. Buckt cannot be held responsible for activities that are booked after this point and subsequently aren’t processed in time for the date requested. Bookings that don’t get processed during the Christmas period will be sorted on the next day that we are in the office.

 

Extended booking deadline

To help make things a bit easier, we will be extending the deadline for you to get booked in for all non-date specific activities. The deadline has been extended by a week, meaning that you have until the 7th January to get booked in for your activities.


Final word

As we hope you agree, the wellbeing of all Buckt staff is paramount, and we feel they deserve this time off to spend with their friends and family. They have been working extra hard these past few weeks and will continue to do so until we close, so I think they need a beer or seven.
